Is that logo thing on the lower right of the trunk lid the plaid logo? I’ve never seen one that I’ve noticed. And golly is that online versus in person form difference stupid. ---

Yes to both. Kudos to Tesla, in that the Plaid logo is so low key. They’re not easy to spot but once you know the logo, they’re out there and you can find them. They are blazingly fast! ---

When my personal plate arrives I expect it to have the proper spacing. I drive an OBW, an Outback Wilderness edition, and it is in a nice green color that Subaru has in 2024. I drive it like the first Jeeps I ever drove in the Marines, the M151 military Jeeps. So the plate I ordered is taking its sweet time getting to me, it’s been several months now, but it is: **M151 OBW** I just had to have that half space! Otherwise it would be **M151OBW** and not nearly as good. ---

I just saw a RAV-4 with **KATIA⎵77**. She looked about 50 to me. Yeah, being unable to completely control the spacing totally wrecks the already limited creative domain. ---

I saw LAF yesterday. Based on the stories (urban legends?) I’ve read, I’m not sure I’d be willing to try that. Many years ago (and there’s a thread on it here somewhere) a local Honda dealership accidentally changed the address in their computers for Honda Lease Trust to my address. It was semi-amusing when I started getting titles mailed to me. It was less amusing when I started getting tickets and collections letters mailed to me. It got even less amusing when I, with three Hondas in my driveway, started getting repo notices. To be clear, none of these titles or tickets or letters had my name on them, only my address. But I was still worried an overzealous repo driver would see one of my Hondas at my address and grab it before looking at the VIN or one of the police departments or collection agencies would assume that “Honda Lease Trust” was the mistake and put my name on it instead of realizing the address was the mistake and fixing that part of it. ETA, I also saw a black sports car that had 3ATMAN. ---

Saw a Telsa with the Colorado special plate that has lots and lots of detailed mountains on it, not just the standard one w the monochrome sawtooth silhouette background. The plate said **CHRG⎵3D**. ---

Saw a Toyota RAV-4 with a standard background FL plate that read **SKOLVKG**. The license plate frame was a rich purple with bright sparkly gold writing that said “SKOL” across the top and “VIKINGS” across the bottom. I was a bit confused until the person riding with me explained that “SKOL” was the official cheer of the Minnesota Vikings NFL team some decades ago. The plate frame colors and font certainly match the official Viking ones; that much I recognized on my own. I knew “skol” only as a brand of chewing tobacco / snuff and as a Scandinavian drinking expression akin to “Cheers”. ---
