**71 IMI** had me perplexed until I remembered that there’s a asphalt company in town called IMI. This was one of their fleet vehicles, I saw the company logo on the side of the truck when it turned. ---

Just saw one at the groc store. Late model Mercedes E-series convertible in bright red. The FL standard plate said **SPOILD2**. I have no doubt. I wonder what other attributes they brag of in addition to “…, and spoiled too.”? The licence plate frame was from a local dealership, so no clue there. Unfortunately I saw it parked in the lot while I was driving off, so I did not have a chance to patrol the store looking for who it might belong to. ---

Saw two today. The first was a bit of humorous incongruity, or maybe incongruous humor. A plain white rather raggedy cheapo sedan with the FL plate **IKOOL**. Evidently they don’t express their ~~coolitude~~ koolitude in their ride. The other was less fun. A nice SUV whose FL standard plate read **RIP⎵JLN**. I don’t know if JLN are initials, Julien, or Julie N. Nor whether they were friend, parent, sibling, spouse, or child. But a sad story told in very few characters. ---

Can we post bumper stickers in this thread? The other day I saw a vehicle with one of those STUDENT DRIVER bumper stickers that have become common, except the owner edited it with a marker so that it read STUD ~~ENT~~ DRIVE ~~R~~ N. It was on an early 2000s Explorer with a smashed up passenger door. A real stud’s ride 🙄. ---

Today: **TWINZ 95** I checked the Minnesota Twins’ 1995 season and they sucked. They finished 5th with a 56-88 record. That’s a .389 winning percentage. So maybe they had a set of twins born that year. As for **LVNGD3D** , if she really did have DDD breasts then I should have turned around and looked. But I didn’t even think that was a possibility. I must be getting old.
