# Cutaway BMW engine running at 14, 200 rpm

Engine from a BMW S1000RR superbike revving up while we look inside. Neat. Interesting how the valves don’t rotate until higher rpms. Engineering!

Wow, that is amazing! I was inching away from my monitor as they started upping the RPM’s expecting it to grenade through my monitor. :eek:

I have 5 motorcycles with a total of 8 cylinders among them. I think if I redlined all of them at the same time, it might add up to 14K. 😃

It’s funny, because I was sort of doing the same thing. The sound alone was giving me the Willies.
