Have they learned that head skritchies feel good yet? I always loved the way that I’d be skritching ears, and the kitten would try to squirm, and then realize SKRITCHIES FEEL WONDERFUL! Then, of course, I had created a monster who wanted skritchies all the time. I can’t remember how old they were, it’s been a looong time since I’ve had a litter of them around. I can’t foster any, because I KNOW that my Siamese girl would murder them the first chance she got. ---

Yaaaaaay! Moar kitteh pics! Sad that there are no more Chewie pics, though. ☹ Lynn, I haven’t dealt with kittens much, but foals do the same thing. If you scratch their heads or their fuzzy little rumps, they get all ruffled and shake their heads and stomp their feet at first, and then they realize that it feels nice and all of sudden it’s “moar skritches now, lady”. Squeee, I love baby animals. ---

Due to lack of opportunity, I haven’t dealt with foals at all, and I have to be satisfied with just pictures or films of them. They seem to be all knobbly leg joints. I’d love to experience this first hand. ---

Are all calicos just the absolute personification of sweetness or have I experienced a biased sample? That little bright-eyes in the middle looks like her disposition is pure sugar. ---

Tortie/Chewie is mine. All mine, I say. Back off. Jayjay, my n = 2, but both of my calicos have been mellow, friendly critters. However, calico #1 was hell on wheels at the vet. My tortie was sweet but neurotic. ---
