I have a big tree of grape vines in my back yard and was thinking about making them grow all over my fence. Is there a way to cut the grape vines and then plant them somewhere else without killing them?

It’s fairly easy to propagate grape vines from cuttings. OK Let me put that in perspective - I did it, therefore it couldn’t have been very hard.

[This site](http://www.gardenhive.com/fruit/grapes/propagate/stem-cuttings/) goes into a lot of detail on how to do this. I’d start the cuttings inside and then tranfer outside when roots have gotten to be about an inch long. Good Luck!
