Well my SO for one has his head so firmly planted up his ass right now I feel like I am talking in circles.
I don’t know if he is purposely being obtuse or if he really is that stupid.
Maybe a 2x4 to the head would be a better choice? 😉
He prefers to dance around the issue rather than deal with it, and the man can’t dance.

Afternoon everyone. Busy day today for the **ems** es we went to then OKC Thunder basketball game last night. My first NBA game and it was a ton of fun and we had great seats. Stayed downtown last night and had a great breakfast at the hotel buffet then went to Bass Pro shop and **mr ems** got some new boots and we had a good look at the pretty boats and 4 wheelers and pretended we were Powerball gajillionaires. Then ran to Tarjay as he also needed new unders and socks then to the grocery store. I really really really want a nap but just can’t shut my brain off **mr ems** is snoozing in the recliner so I might clean the kitchen instead or put some laundry in. Then we get to wrap Christmas presents tonight! Full of excitement here today.

Not much on the game plan for today. DH is probably going to be reinstalling stuff on his phone and trying to figure out what was causing boot-looping. I’m debating changing ROMs, but that would mean rebuilding the whole phone (ugh).
Laundry’s current enough (just did it on Thursday, and two adults don’t generate THAT much in two days), so are dishes (not enough in the dishwasher yet to be worth running it).

Note to self: as much as it may seem like a good idea to stop off at Trader Joe’s and pick up some bananananas and snacky bits on the way to work, doing so at about noon on a Saturday is not a really brilliant idea.

Supper was scalloped N.O.T./ham/onion/green peas casserole thingy with swiss cheese on top - very yummy! Punkin pie later. Digesting now.

When Mrs. Plant v.3.0 arrived home at noon from toiling at her Satanic Mill from a G-d Awful Hour, I was on the way home from working at the trailer.
She mentioned that she wanted fried chicken, so after fixing Mongolian Beef, and looking for recipes I went to the store while she napped .
Sitting on the kitchen counter top is…Rosie and Observant Jews, avert your eyes…a bowl of “Chicken, Cut-Up For Frying” soaking in buttermilk.
I don’t feel particularly Southern, but I do feel domestic.
I hope to G-d Mrs. Plant v.3.0 will make the gravy.

Since my last post I have had a nappy poo, finished ironin’ (Go Me!), made chikin nachos for dindin, made a chikin pasta sallit for brunch tomorrow and also a gallon each of sweet and unsweet tea for brunch tomorrow. I also checked out my readin’ for tomorrow mornin’ as I am a Lector for deheathenization.
I feel so productive! 😃

I haven’t done a damn thing today.
Well I took a long hot bath, went to the store and cashed in my winning ticket $12.
So I owe **Swampy** some cookies.
Had Chinese for dinner, I bought enough food for a couple of days and had a little bit of everything, so I’m good to go until Tuesday Pizza Day.
I told sah-kid if he’d eat Chinese today, I will take him for tacos tomorrow. So I won’t need to cook anything until Thurs because pizza is always good for 2 days.
I need to go to irk but I sure don’t feel like it.

Happy sattiday all,
I have done lost my mind iffin I ever had it. Rearranged the casa and moved all the music bs to the living room moved all the books and stuff to the bed room. I did this so I would have a good place to practice. So what am I practicing? Keys and Bass, herein lies the problem I am up to about 3 hours a day and music is just pouring out of me, so far so good. It’s the range of stuff, right now on the organ I have open the Bass technique book, Jazz improv basics, Steely Dan sheet music anthology(Peg) and a Police anthology(Walking on the Moon), plus I have been learning Dusty Beard bass lines(Beer Drinkers, La Grange) the band I am playing ins stuff, old school funk and soul and tons of stuff I just hear “Let’s groove tonight,… so boogie on down”. So basically I let music take over my life
So being a musician pays really well, right? :smack::p:o:(:dubious:

As I understood it **Haze** mentioned that the lesbian is optional but did add a certain je ne sais quois.

OK, I’ve been very productive: helped brother repair the futon frame (we required assistance from a neighbor, even), have been running all futon covers and sheets through the wash, distributed all plants to their future homes, planted 10 or so plants, baked and microwaved the entire pumpkin and acorn squash collection, and have started some toasted pumpkin seeds. (Someone I was talking to at a party my brother dragged me to last night told me about some she made recently and they sounded good.)
I’m sure there’s more, but that’s already quite impressive for me.
Back to laundry!

Thank you so much, **Swampy**! I guess I didn’t look far enough in the blog to find it, so really thank you. 🙂 As I remembered, the recipe is fun to read and I hope it will turn out to be good to eat. I will report back when I’ve made it. Might not be until later this week - I gotta hit the grocery store on Wednesday for the 10% senior discount, after all. 😉
Tonight we are having pizza and chicken wings, courtesy of a joint here in ABQ called Pizza Nine. YUM!
