The only thing that you might consider is this. Does this relationship prevent you from forming another, ‘real world’, relationship. Is this a crutch? ---

I don’t think it is that out there, I mean, I’m sure people were having phone sex before the internet was around (and people still do have phone sex in spite of internet). It isn’t my bag, however. Like a few others have said, it seems kind of weird. Me, I’m much more fond of the real thing…just something about physical contact that appeals me 🙂 ---

And OP, It’s no more freaky than banging someone in real life that you’ve only just met or know as an acquaintance. Things can still get weird if the encounter is in the flesh. My first (and only, sadly) CS experience was back in like 1990 in a BBS chatroom. Totally unexpected and spontaneous. But still a very powerful and highly sexual experience. ---

When my fiancee and I were living 3000 miles apart (and we’d met in person several times already and did the real thing every chance we got), we used to do this, and have phone sex, too. To try to describe it would cheesy as all hell - I’d saved a few of our sessions in the past, and re-reading only made me laugh. But when you’re in the moment, yeah, you can just get carried away. Why not? Even real lovemaking is corny - ever hear what pops out of people’s mouths during sex? Hilarious! Things someone would never say in regular conversation spill out here. There’s a thread about that around here somewhere. Lots of pointing and laughing in that thread. 😉 Someone else reading your fantasies are going to call them corny and weird, because they are not a part of it, and they weren’t there, having the same feelings. It’s like trying to describe how great it is to have sex with your husband to someone who isn’t even vaguely interested in him; it’s going to sound silly. Or even your favourite sex toy. There’s still a lot of repression when it comes to sex. It’s gotten a little better, but it still seems that a lot of the time, the only kind anyone will call “normal” is straight vanilla sex, with a few minor variations. Everything else is still a little “scary” to people who either know nothing about it or don’t enjoy it themselves. Natural human reaction always seems to be that they are “normal”, and anything else is “weird”. Don’t worry that your fantasies and playtimes with consentual adults are weird; as long as you both enjoy it, who cares what anyone else thinks? What are they going to do about it? It’s none of their business. Have _fun_! The world doesn’t need to approve of your sex life - real or fantasy! ---
