# Czarcasm, is it possible for a liberal to draw a warning for insulting a conservative?

The question I raised in this thread was how overt an insult has to be to be considered a personal insult and if someone made a similar subtle attack on a liberal if it would be similarly disregarded. I clearly read Lobohan’s post one way and reported it. You read it and clearly read it differently. You’re the mod and I didn’t complain or start a thread about it and on this thread I laid my comment, his response and your rationale and asked others if I’m missing something.

As for how this relates to liberals on this board? I don’t know but I put it in this thread in case someone like Bricker says “I said something similar to Little Nemo and got a warning for it.” In fact, I didn’t even post the full background until someone asked for it and I asked the natural question of how overt an insult has to be to warrant a warning. Incidently you called his comment on my work performance as “wry” and I think anyone reading his full post would not consider his comments “dryly humorous”. I still think it was a veiled insult and you don’t but I’m not the mod, you are. You made your decision and I let it go despite thinking you were incorrect. I just posted the incident in this thread to see if others (on either side) had similar experiences or if I were misreading the situation in the context of this thread topic.

But I will say this, despite my disagreement you did investigated it and took care of the overall tone in that thread.
