Great job **Czarcasm**! Certainly one of the elite mods here – of course I might be a tiny bit biased as I almost always concurred with you as a poster. So from that perspective, happy retirement (have you found a hospice yet?) and happy to have you join us plebeians. Just don’t get your ass banned OK? ---

As I recall, **Czarcasm** began hs tenure with the start of the first expansion forum besides the seven that the [boards.straightdope.com](http://boards.straightdope.com) ste began wth, i.e., IMHO. And he’s been an effective and competent mod ever since. I remember tradng barbs with him back when GD was a more civil place, and he was **slythe** \*. Mmle. **TubaDiva** , I think this would be a good time to ask again for a history of SDMB Moderators. Only a few of us 99ers remember them all, and it’s a part of Board history that shouldn’t be neglected. If it’s necessary to say something that could be construed as a negative, a flat factual report, with no debate permitted, would IMHO be approprate: “ **Nickrz** went inactive after a time and was replaced” or “ **Melin** refused to follow **Ed** ’s instructions, and eventually made some posts that could reasonably be construed as threats to involve the Chicago Reader in a lawsuit, and was asked to step down.” But mostly we’ve had some terrific people serve as Mods. ( **John Corrado, Uncle Beer, Manny, Noodles** ), and IMO they deserve some permanent recognition. Think about it, huh? - The Famly Stone dd not join him. Off getting a monopoly on flat cats, I suppose. 😉 ---
