I remember hearing the **Boney M** Christmas album when I was a kid. I loved it, even as I was a couple years into enjoying music of the more hard rock/heavy metal persuasion. I bought it for myself a few years ago and I’m glad I did. It is really well done, and although I tend toward even heavier metal nowadays, I love it, and recommend it highly to anyone who likes the classic caroles. ---

So far I’m leaning towards Eartha Kitt’s _Santa Baby_, and Jimmy Durante’s _Frosty The Snowman_(although The Roches came a damnclose 2nd). ---

Santa Claus is Coming to Town: the Jackson 5 and Bruce Springsteen versions, listed above, are both covers of the Phil Spector arrangement, sung by the … Crystals? Ronettes? doesn’t matter…on the absolutely fantastic album _A Christmas Gift for You._ So, although Bruce is awesome, go for the original. ---
