# D.C. area dopers - where are the ghost tours?

I want to go on a ghost tour this weekend; Harper’s Ferry always has one, but I haven’t seen any publicity on it this year; do you know when it is? Do you know of any others in the D.C. area?

There’s a place on (or right off of) King street in Old Town Alexandria about 3-5 blocks up from the waterfront. I don’t recall the name.

There’s one in Occoquan - south of DC - probably get a phone number for the Occoquan Champer of Commerce or tourist something.

GHOST TOURS OF HARPERS FERRY  
Harpers Ferry ghost tours will be conducted Saturday. Walk through the streets of Harpers Ferry and hear stories behind the town’s ghosts. Reservations must be made – the limit is 100 people per tour. The cost is $2. For mor information, call Shirley Doughtery at 725-8019.

Thanks for the info. A co-worker who has a place in Harper’s Ferry told me the tour doesn’t go inside the houses - phooey. So I gave up on that one. I wanted to visit at least one genuine, old spooky, haunted house.  
I did find some more tours in today’s W.Post.
