# D.C. Dopers: What happened to Uncle Brutha's?

Last weekend, we stopped by Eastern Market in Washington, D.C., and swung by Uncle Brutha’s Hot Sauce Emporium, but it wasn’t there, and there was no notice regarding whether it had moved. Anyone have a clue?

It was basically the fire at Eastern Market that brought down the foot traffic and made the store not profitable.

That’s too bad.

I can’t believe it’s taking them so long to rebuild.

My wife actually cried the first time we went down there after the fire.
