A little help for the dumb guy from NY - Right now, I think it is: Thoroncir, Deor, Renee, and Brin inside the cave thinking they had the spider penned. Gil-Gandel, Ghan, and Mal returning from an orc hunt. Did I get this right? Where’s Theogrim? ---

Moose and the Huge Spider are outside the entrance where you entered (room 1 and the stairs.) ---

Just to clarify for the slow student… We chased the spider back into 7, where it went down the hole. Renee is suggesting that it came up out of 6 and escaped outside? Well, escaped for a brief second until it met Moose… ---

I expected the party to confront the Huge spider in strength and eliminate it before sending some after the 3 escaping orcs. If the Spider had known Moose was out there, it would have been more dangerous. I was happy Ghân thought to use the Faerie Fire, he learned something important about these offspring of Shelob, the last child of Ungoliant. ---

I just never believed it. The veterans were always playing jokes on the newbs. Plus, I think I mentioned earlier, I had avoided bug hunts during my stint. Mostly goblins and small wargs, some orcs, only a couple of Uruk-hai. I’m really green ---

Ghân is feeling a bit sad, since the mission appears to be to kill all evil, even if it surrenders. No doubt once we’ve finished the current orc opponents, we need to track down every baby spider and squash them. ---

He would be just as happy to leave them be and go after more orcs, maybe take down an HK or two. ---
