Here you say (with reasonable knowlege) that being D&Q’d is being dragged and hung. I disagree; it’s having ropes tied to the wrists and ankles and dragged in 4 different directions by horse. (Thus ripping the hapless body into quarters)

Care to check that out?

Hate to jump on a new guest, Tindy, but perhaps you failed to read the fourth paragraph of Cecil’s answer?
