Did they sneak the most cryptic, nerdiest fart joke ever into Rob Corddry’s bit on the UAE Ports acquisition thing, or was it coincidental and I’m just a nerd with a really low sense of humour?

Sorry, I guess it’s more obscure than I thought. 😃
“Chile” is a homonym for “Chili.” Chili is a bean dish, and the culprits in beans that are [largely responsible](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatulence#Causes) for the associated flatulence are oligosaccharides – “sugary” polymers. They’re notoriously hard for the digestive system to break down, so they hang around and the bacteria in your intestines eat 'em up, producing gas as waste.
Or am I looking too hard for a fart joke, here?

Me too. I especially liked Jon’s “I gotta say this: You’re a bad father.”
That’s saying something, coming from a guy who juggles infants in an open-topped car on his way to work.

So in order to understand the joke, you must pick up on the chile pun, and have some knowledge of biochemstry.
The fart joke was the most intellectual part of the program. 🙂

**Proposal** : one of us TDS & TCR fans starts a weekly thread each Monday night or Tueday Morning.
I have noticed we average 2-3 threads a week on these two closely related shows and if the idea isn’t too stupid maybe it is worthwhile.
