# Dallas:who killed JR?

I know there’s another thread about the new Dallas series, but I thought JR’s/Larry Hagman’s death deserved a new thread. I thought this episode was perfect – opening theme low-key and very respectful of Hagman. It hadn’t even occurred to me that I’d get emotional, but I did, especially when SueEllen spoke at JR’s grave and broke down. JR’s death results in a new mystery and has us hanging on to find out about JR’s “masterpiece.” Then the end of the show: JR is seen walking away and chuckling in his inimitable way. I think Larry Hagman approves. RIP JR.
