The FX network has announced they have decided to renew the new show Damages for two more seasons! According to [this Hollywood Reporter article](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/television/news/e3if0a88cb27644c04b8e71a1ae0abaf695). Glenn Close has also signed on to be in the upcoming seasons. I thought the first season was great, and am looking forward to watching more! ---

A 2 season pick-up is weird for a show like this one. Doesn’t it mean that there won’t be any major resolution at the end of the 2nd season? This isn’t an episodic series or a season-based thematic show like The Wire. Look forward to it, though. ---

That is good to hear. It shows that people will watch an intelligent, literate drama that isn’t dumbed-down and requires the viewer to pay attention to the plot.
