You know, for Boston it could have been much worse. Just image if Boston ended up gettting A-Rod(Mr. #2 in the batting lineup!). He’d still be choking, just on your nickel. ---

I’m more of a David Ortiz fan than a Sox fan, and more of a Yankee hater than an Ortiz fan. For these reasons, the last two games have been enjoyable. I dare not hope the luck of the Sox will continue, but who knows? I’m an Ortiz fan 'cause I’m a Twins fan, and he used to be one of ours. I saw him in a spring training game down in Florida, which was his first game as a Sock. I went up to the fence and said “Hey David, wrong uniform!” He looked at me like he might laugh or might beat the shit out of me, then went back to talking to (then Twins) Doug Mientkiewicz and A. J. Pierzynski. David Ortiz might look big on TV, but in person he is a fucking giant. He looks like he could pick up a car and throw it over a house, no problem. ---
