I think **covfefe** may indicate a place where the script writers are supposed to insert some wacky conspiracy theory, lie, false accusation, or confusing gibberish. This is similar to how the script writers for “Star Trek” would put “[TECH]” in the script where technobabble would later be added (Route the warp tachyon overflow to the shield array to boost the photon torpedoes) Obviously covfefe in that tweet should have been caught by the editors before it was released. Boy! I bet someone lost their job over that. When Spicer later said that a small group of people knew what it meant, he must have been referring to the script writers.
