When I play music in Winamp while Photoshop is running, the music distorts and just turns into dissonant noise, which continues even after I close both Winamp and Photoshop. What the hell is going on?

While Photoshop is running, can you play music from other media programs (like Windows Media Player) normally?

Dunno.

I just opened them on my computer, and they both seem to work fine together, so i’m guessing it must be something specific to your setup, rather than some inherent conflict between the two programs.
