I hate when I can’t sleep, and I’m up at 4 am scrolling through the message boards, and then the damned boards go down for maintainance. What else am I supposed to do at 4 in the morning??? Sure, it’s a time when not a lot of people are inconvienenced, but what about me??? Grr. ---

Um, aren’t the boards down for about **five minutes** (in almost all cases, it’s less than ten minutes)? Heck, I’m impatient, but not THAT impatient. I know–I’m usually up that late ('course, in California, it’s “only” 1:30 am). What’s mildly annoying is when it’s down for a bit more than five minutes and I lose all my “unread” red envelopes (my ability to go right to the “first unread post”). I don’t like it, but I deal with it. On the other hand, if I was up at 4:30 in the morning, I’d probably be in a bad mood whether I had a reason to be or not. ---

I always have at least three windows open in Netscape…I browse the net and post at the same time. I also keep a book handy since my computer likes to freeze up a lot.
