My friend is coming over and wants me to take a shower before she gets here. I asked if we were going to have sex, she said no. So I asked, “Bitch, why I should take a shower?” She said it would be nice. By the way I took a shower yesterday and do not smell foul. Well, I’m off to take a shower. ---

Generally, people don’t go out of their way to suggest that you shower unless it’s a really, _really_ good idea. It sounds like your friend’s just tryingto do you and her nose a favor. ---

Maybe you do smell, then, or you’ve smelled enough on previous occasions that she wants to be sure. I don’t know why people are upset over him calling his friend “bitch,” though. It sounded (to me, at least) that his comment to his friend was tongue-in-cheek, and my friends and I (female and male) call each other things like “bitch” all the time. ---

Actually, there is a fine but distinct line between being called ‘bitch’ and ‘A bitch’. I only _slap_ the kids when they call me ‘bitch’, but they would get a real whoppin’ if they ever dared to call me A bitch. Thus far, they have escaped being whopped. ---
