Odd itchy welts on my waist in the crook of my elbow on the back of the thigh. Can it be poison ivy lovingly transferred by my cats at night who crowd my bed, whereā€™s the fluocinonide where are my cat gloves where the the frigging roundup. Itā€™s gonna be a sucky week. ---

I took Seven to the vet today because she was drinking and peeing excessively for the last week. (It took me a few days to figure out which of the three cats was doing it.) I was hoping it wouldnā€™t be diabetes but it is. He plans to treat her with just insulin, which Iā€™ve picked up. She also needs to start an antibiotic because she does have a UTI. But none of this is going to get started today. Seven is a semi-feral who _hates_ to be picked up. And right now she is very pissed at me and wonā€™t let me get within a few feet of her. To make matters worse, Trei is hissing at her because she smells funny. Vet smell on top of the fact that she peed in the carrier. I canā€™t catch her to clean her up, much less try to give any medications. In hindsight, I should have let her out in the bathroom but she was howling when we got in the house and I wasnā€™t thinking straight. Iā€™m just going to let her calm down then. The vet was very happy that we caught this early so as much as I want to get on with it, I can wait until tomorrow when both of us will be less stressed. Hopefully. ---

Just try to catch up on baseball scores and go to MLB Network. What I get are a couple of jocks and a couple of women who yammer instead of simply showing clips. The women are, of course, dressed in The Official Sports Women Commentators Uniform of short skirts and heels and love to use annoying phrases- for example instead of saying ā€œthe bases are loadedā€ they say ā€œthe bags are juicedā€. Honestly, I donā€™t think they even watch baseball much, they just read the teleprompter. The men are no less irritating, gushing over every player like schoolboys with a crush on their teacher. Enough. No need to have these knuckleheads on camera. Just show the freaking highlights and scores with simple narration. ---

Iā€™m just going to have to learn to keep working with it I guess. ---

I was just out playing Pokemon Go and I think that I saw a dead body lying on the ground. It was at the doorway entrance of a highway rest stop Burger King. His head was on a jacket, but he wasnā€™t moving. He didnā€™t move at all in the 5 min it took me to navigate around and back out of the parking lot. He was surrounded by 6-8 State Troopers. I have no idea if it was a robbery gone bad, road rage, or a drive-by. I just left and went home. Thatā€™s freaky. ---

The meat inside is disgustingly old. The mayo crapola should have been thrown out two days ago. The tomato slices are moosh. The onion slices are old,dry, and toughā€¦ and the pickles have been dried out at room temperature too long. Also, that bun isnā€™t toasted; itā€™s stale. Itā€™s a bulimicā€™s dreamā€¦ \< heave \> \< heave \> ---

We had to let our big dog go yesterday. It went as well as it could have, he had a good final day and we didnā€™t wait too long as we have done in the past. Plus, as I said to my husband, from the day we rescued him eight years ago, he lived his life in dog heaven. We will be okay sometime. I found that the local humane society will accept his unused medications, so hopefully they will help someone else.
