Great 3000th post, Sua And I didn’t bother hitting on my sister’s friends because a) they were ugly, I know beggars can’t be choosers but I’d need 6 paper bags to put over the heads of this bunch and b) I don’t want to be one of those creepy seniors who bags sophomores and freshmen. ---

Thanks for the extra reasons, **mags** , they’re much appreciated. I still don’t think I was wrong to apply there early, though; I wanted to go there then and it was a non-binding early action, which was the kicker. Still, it’s a shame that I didn’t know what I wanted earlier. Cest la vie. And **Sua** , of course we wanted to go there. That’s why we applied. It’s a great school in a great location, and great people go there. But I think we’re entitled to blow off some steam; college applications do not breed a low-stress environment, and dissapointments like this are worthy of a couple underhanded insults. ---

My senior year there was this beautiful red head that I could have screwed and didn’t simply because she was a freshman. I’ve never had the chance to date a red head since, and few of the women I’ve dated have been as good looking as her. I’ve been kicking my ass over it since about my middle twenties. If I had it to do all over again, I’d plop her down in typing class and go for it in front of God and everybody, just so that I could say I did her. Doesn’t seem fair that **you** were grounded because someone **else** was indiscreet. If you’re old enough to apply to colleges, you’re old enough for your parents to give the benefit of the doubt that you can make your own decisions. Besides, what do they think you’re going to do when you go away to the college that does accept you? 😉 ---
