I think all morning news shows are just entertainment. The Today Show spends a lot of time showing 5 minute previews of their evening “news” shows, and laughing with each other. ---

Alternatively, you can switch mediums and catch NPR’s Morning Edition. ---

I tried watching CNN. They were on the phone with an American student who happened to be in Egypt. The student was telling us how the Egyptian people felt about the situation, how the military was acting and what the point of it all was - all from the view out her window apparently. All-in-all I think Good Morning America! was a better bet for factual information. ---
