Yeah, it’s a shock, even if you knew it was coming. You just don’t expect it to be coming _that early_. I had fantastic, long, full har in high-school and college, but now I’m losing it from the temples backwards. I tried shaving it all off but it just made me look like I had recently undergone chemo. I still had most of the middle part, so I grew that out into a mohawk (no faux for me). Then I dyed it fuscha. Try it. People won’t even notice the balding at that point. Sure, people will think of you as the guy with pink hair, but, people will think of you as the guy with pink _hair_. ---

First of all: NO COMB-OVERS. You’re not fooling anyone. Keep it trimmed short, or shave it off. Grow a goatee. I like very short or bald with a goatee. How _you_ doin’ ? 😉 ---

A friend of mine is, what, 33? 34? and is dealing with this exact same thing. He began losing his hair “early” as well, probably around 25ish or so. He’s a little sensitive about it. But you know something? Doesn’t matter. I never knew him with a full head of hair, and so Tom is just Tom. He’s not “Tom with a receding hairline.” Just Tom. And he’s great. Frankly, he’s an attractive guy, doubly so because he’s got such a great mind, personality, and sense of humor. If I weren’t married, I’d for certain go after him.
