Fair enough, but it’s not only GQ. It’s here in the Pit as well. I **do** know, however - for example, that **Lynn** is rather adament about “No joke threads in the PIT”. I really would suggest that you email a moderator and ask, but the drift I’m hearing here is “threads should be placed in the proper forum”. ---

Well, they weren’t “joke threads” per se–I think the OPs were sincere pittings, but the threads drifted/were hijacked into joking. And what I meant above was that if the hostility had been maintained instead, the threads would presumably not have been locked. It’s not a fight I have a dog in, anyway; and it’s certainly nothing I’d want to dispute with the mods. ---

Actually, I drink Busch on a nightly basis. (I know, I know–shit beer. But I live on a _shit_ budget). I got home from office Christmas party at 10:30 PM last night, looked in on my daughter(asleep), said hello to my son, told him to go to bed, and started reading my emails(50). The posts were reported by a member at 8:45 PM last night. Saw no reason to keep it open, allowing bumps 7-12. Of course, I read it about 10:40 PM. Thread was full of posts not useful to the OP, and were political in nature.
