Aha, I just finished reading BjOrns pit therea where you posted a very well written reply. I commented to myself “that was well writen thoughtful and insiteful post.” As I continued to read the thread I was taken completely by suprise at your playfully ill timed request for TVelben to personally welcome you to the board. Needless to say I had a good laugh! That was beautifully timed. Bravo. On another note, these past few months I have requested “Western Union” to be played on our local oldies station at least once a week. With not a lot of success I don’t think. I have a copy of it and it sounds just like us so I guess they didn’t put enough of a different twist on it to chart it a second time. I suppose their strategy may have been to release it in England where our original version didn’t do as well as the US. ---

Ummm, the Stones? So, really now, what’s the name of the band? Is it Five Americans? It looks like there’s one by Jerry Butler too. Help! I wanna hear aha! Also, do you sing in it, aha? IIRC, you’ve said that you played guitar in the band, right? The version I heard sounded kinda Herman’s Hermitsesque. I love oldies. Is the album still avaliable? ---

And yes I was lead guitarist as well. I hate to say this if for no other reason than giving Carnivorous Plant the satisfation but yeah you can plug in to Napster and hear it.
