Dude, I work at Kmart, I’m already in hell.
Why is it that so many people seem to dislike Arby’s? I love the place, and would eat there before a McDonald’s or Burger King. It doesn’t top Quizno’s, but it’s not that bad.
Sorry Delphica, you’re wrong on one point. Buffalo Wings were invented at the Anchor Bar. Those what invents something gets to name it. If the Anchor Bar calls 'em Buffalo Wings (and they do) then Buffalo Wings is the proper name.

Good wings in Syracuse too; of course, it’s just a few hours down the interstate from Buffalo.
I have a good time laughing at all the rip-off “Buffalo-Wing-Products” you see everywhere in the U.S. except in places like right-minded restaurants such as Hooter’s and Buffalo itself (and a few other upstate cities and towns themselves).
I wouldn’t expect much in the way of authentic duplications in a restaurant that doesn’t get the French Dip au Jus right(although it is still good).
Just get jalepeno poppers and sit down and quitcherbitchin’
[doh! I typed “poopers” the first time!]
lol this reminds me of one of the few funny carls Jr (perfered by 8 out of 12 cavemen and throwbacks) commericals these days
They had a bunch of scientist looking for the “nuggets and fingers” on a chicken and concluded they didnt have any
i forget the tag line at the end tho …
But how soon do they need to name something for it to be the proper name? I’m not trying to be snarky, I’m really asking. The addition of “Buffalo” to the Anchor Bar menu happened quite a while after the wings had spread around the Buffalo area, in response to the national hoopla over chicken wings. For years, they were just “chicken wings” like every other place in Buffalo that sells them.
If the Brown Derby people decided to change the name of Cobb Salad today, to the Hollywood Salad, would you accept that as its proper name?
Good point. I wasn’t aware that they’d changed the name: everything I’d ever read (not all THAT much, admittedly) implied that they were originally called “Buffalo Wings”. If they changed the name later, then tough noogies to them!

soooooo, Jack Batty, How You Doin?
I admit to a somewhat warped and dirty mind. This is one of the most unintentionally (I assume) dirty sounding things I have ever read.
I gotta agree with ya on the how to enjoy the wings tho. Pure art there my friend.
So, Swampy, ya wanna hear directions on how to eat crawfish?
[sub]hint: it includes frequent use of the word “suck”, as well as the words “pull”, “twist” and “bite”.[/sub]
