When I was reading my obligatory adolescent book (at 11, because we start good and early, too), my mother rolled her eyes and said, “Look, you’ve got 45 years of this ahead of you. Enjoy the peace while you have it.” The flipside to this, though, is women in my family are fertile very late. My mother conceived my sister at 38 on the very first month she went off the pill. My cousin had a baby at 42 without any fertility help. My great grandmother had her last baby at 47 (surprise!). So at least I probably have a lot of years to kick the idea around before I have to make a decision about kids. ---

Another reason I wear cotton and not nylon during my period is that he is allergic to nylon, so I would have to wash the nylon ones myself. I don’t see how anyone could forget cold water for blood after washing out a pair of panties in knuckle freezing cold water a few times. ---
