A similar, interesting phenomenom occurs with guitar strings. The heaviest set of strings you can buy in the music shop? Medium. Beyond that you have things like Light, Extra Light, Super Light, Custom Light, Ultra Light, etc.

I’m strangely saddened by this. Here I was thinking that there was another chain which would soon have shops on every corner. I don’t know about you, but I think I could handle a Klingon female, and don’t get me started on Trills, growwll.

C&H fan, I see, but IIRC, it’s actually “Verbing weirds language”.

Domino’s Pizza is also part of the size/language conspiracy. They’ve got two screen sizes: 14" and 16", but claim to have only medium and large pizzas.
