It is certainly possible that he put the monitor to the side because he was afraid it was going to get banged around in the back of the truck. Perhaps he was planning to transport it in his car. The only way you’re going to know is to call the charity and ask them about it. Let them know what you saw and are just wondering if that’s the normal procedure and if it would be better in the future if you brought monitors directly to the sales outlet so that the pickup guy wouldn’t have to make two trips.
