This is awful. I wasn’t a huge fan of his in my younger days, but his music grew on me. And that is way to young to die. Guys-you might want to get your prostates checked. Just saying… ---

Aw man, what a sad day. We got into him pretty heavy back in our teens when _Souvenirs_ came out and he remained hugely popular with us through _Twin Sons of Different Mothers_. Recently I kinda revisited those days, repurchasing his first five releases on cd. Tonite will be a good nite to play them through once again, although I imagine they’ll come with an added layer of poignancy and reflection. ---

I learned a lot of his stuff on guitar early on - Part of the Plan and a few others - so I owe him thanks for providing cool songs that I wanted to learn how to play. He was a thoughtful musician and songwriter. ---

Any male over age 40 should have an annual physical exam that includes testing (PSA from blood sample, for instance.)
