Dan Rather and "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?"

True, and I’m no saint. The fact is, I’m scolding myself as well as everyone else. I laughed at the story when I first heard it, just like everyone else. If the story had ENDED with the assault on Dan Rather, I might still think it funny. Knowing that the story didn’t end there, that a sick individual went untreated and eventually killed somebody, however, robs the story of its fun. For me, anyway.

Because it’s neither serious enough or likely enough to go off saying “Copycat, Copycat, nyah, nyah, nyah.”

Can you really not tell what “something else” means in this context? Really?

Plus in today’s popular music landscape, young listeners don’t bat an eye if someone rips off someone else’s song note-for-note then uses it to sell their own line of pimp shoes, so I reckon there’s really no point.

The way I heard it was that “Kenneth” was Dan Rather’s double from another planet.

If I recall correctly, the connection between Rather and Tager was only discovered in 1997 or so.
