# Dancing on the grave of health care "reform"

So, Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s attempt at health care “reform” has failed miserably. It’s not dead yet, but it’s on life support (hope it doesn’t get dropped from insurance for a pre-existing condition, amirite??? HAHAHA!!).
So, I would like to make a bold pre-emptive gloating post to celebrate the death of health care “reform.” It was a bad idea because government takeovers of large parts of the economy are always and obviously a bad idea. It should never have been born, so its death is no great loss.
Hey liberal douches–no free health insurance for you!! Not yours!!! You gotta pay for stuff just like all the rest of us schlubs that actually work for a living have gotta pay for stuff! So sowwy!
Barack HUSSEIN Obama wanted to hook up even more Americans (excuse me, “hard-working Americans”) to the government teat so that he could keep his party in power by threatening to reduce and promising to increase benefits each and every motherfucking election cycle, but it didn’t work. The American people said no.
If some form of this abortion of a bill gets passed, then you are all welcome to rub my faces in it. Until then, I prefer syrup.

Don’t worry buddy, I know what I’m doing. I say it like that so that those who don’t want to take my viewpoint seriously in the first place have an easy reason for not doing so. Makes it easier for them than actually thinking about the issues.
ETA: Hehe, the last line you added on edit exaclty proves my point. I couldn’t have hoped for a better first reply to this thread. One day, if I’m feeling charitable, I’ll explain all of this to the extremely slow, but for now, which brand of syrup do you have on hand?

I don’t think you actually know what you’re doing. You certainly don’t understand the Senate bill that was under consideration, since your post doesn’t address it.
Why do you have strongly held beliefs that are based on lies and misinformation? Isn’t that something that a stupid person would do?

You do know heath care is a mess and needs to be fixed, don’t you? Are there tomorrows in Roverland? It keeps going up in cost and down in coverage. Almost all the Repubs run on fixing it too. McCain ran on fixing it.
Then Luntz figured out a way to harm the Dems by demonizing health care. He knew there were some people who selfishly and shortsightedly, would be happy with their coverage. Then add a heavy dose of fear and name calling and perhaps it could become a political weapon. I hope the people see what they are trying to do . I hope the house bill dominates in the reconcilliation and we get something helpful. The American people are strongly behind health care reform. It is the Tv and corporations who are against it. Can you figure how corporations have to pass the cost along to their customers hurting their ability to compete, and yet still rally behind the repubs. I guess you can be stupid , rich and powerful too.
