Pickler is American Idol royalty. I can’t remember what place she came in on her season, but she’s had a decent(ish) career since. ---

That’s two country stars, right? Hopefully, they’ll split the country vote and/or at least one will have rhythm. Surprised that Derek is back. And it seems like they’re stacking the deck for Mark to win. Placing Andy Dick (who is an awful personality) with a new pro seems mean. And Tristan gets another “woman of a certain age.” ---

One of the professional dancer’s credits was that she was 8th on So You Think You Can Dance. Guess any cross-over audience is a good thing. Anybody remember LINDSAY ARNOLD from SYTYCD? ---

Dorthy Hamill should do really well if she’s still in reasonable shape. Is she still in the Ice Capades shows? I know [she bought the Ice Capades](http://articles.latimes.com/1993-10-26/news/vw-49982_1_ice-capades) and was starring as Cinderella in 1993. Mark gets the gymnast this season. She’ll be tough to beat. I’m a fan of Pickler. Love her music. I hope there’s some dance talent there. Watch out for Jacoby Jones. I’m expecting that he’ll be as good as Hines Ward. Especially with Karina training him. They should be fun to watch. Kym is on this seasons Australian Apprentice. She’ll have to return for the live finale filming in a couple months. ---

Did some checking and Dorothy is still skating. She should be in good shape. She’s not in her thirties like Kristi Yamaguchi was on dwts, but I think Dorothy will surprise people.. First, please don’t change my words inside of quotes. Second, I like Sara Evans’s music and Billy Ray Cyrus’s attitude but both of them were awful dancers whose fanbases kept them in far longer than their dancing ability and/or improvement warranted. I would personally rather like to see all of the contestants dance well and get better from week to week. However, if someone really, really, unquestionably doesn’t, I do get a bit annoyed with their fans who keep voting for them anyway. ---
