Which McGavin detective TV show gave him a reel to reel tape recorder for phone messages? I thought it was Mike Hammer, but I’ve watched almost all of it, and have not seen the recorder, despite his giving his cannon to the desk clerk, which I thought was in the same show.

Thanks!

In night stalker he has a tiny tape recorder…i guess he also has one on his desk for phone messages.
