It starts with episode 210?? That is the introduction of Barnabas Collins who became the highlight of the show. But is there anyway to obtain earlier shows?

The Sci-Fi Channel was running in the morning (two eps per day), but it looks like they’re stopping this week with eps #995 & 996. The show was available on VHS for many years, but it starts at the same point. Sci-Fi did have the rights to all 1225 episodes according to their [web page for the show.](http://www.scifi.com/darkshadows/)

I dislike how they’ve been releasing things. I wish they’d do normal season releases so I could buy them for my mom without wondering what episodes are going to be on the dvds or left off.
