International child custody laws are a nightmare, we see children taken away all the time and it sucks to be separated from your child. As an Aussie and a Finn this has nothing to do with those countries, it is all about the breakdown in your relationship and the alleged mental health of your wife. I would also question why you would let a woman who was abusing your children take them overseas to her home country. Also why did you not report this alleged abuse? You can take this through the legal system but it will take time, it is criminal that it does but alas this is what happens when we have in effect 3 legal systems at work here. ---
