I can’t seem to figure out how the current configuration of numbers around the face of a dartboard was arrived at. I know it alternates both high-low-high-low and odd-even-odd-even (for purposes of games where an even number of points are required) but I’ve been unable to find anything that details the specific arrangement of numbers. Is it random? Anyone?
