# dashcams and Russia

One of my rss feeds is for liveleak (yah, I know, I gotta get a life) and one thing I have noticed is that most of the accidents they show from inside cars seem to come from Russia. What gives? Are dash cams standard on Russian cars? Are they, as a culture, fascinated with dashcams? This puzzles me. (Not losing any sleep over it, but you never know.)
