# Database error

The last two days, I have gotten a database error message several times when I use the “new posts” function. I wouldn’t care, except then I have to wait 300 seconds to search again. Will I do so? No, I will go elsewhere, thinking unlovely thoughts. Can we please revisit the 300-second search setting?

I got this error a few times today, not just after searching, sometimes just with opening a thread. A refresh sets everything right, but it still might be a symptom of a wider problem.

Okay, had about five more database errors since that post. What the hell’s going on?

I’ve tried to search several times in the last hour only to get the error too. Of course, when I try again I am told I have to wait the 300 seconds to try again.

Not good.
