# Database instability.

New threads are disappearing and the reappearing. I had one last week that did that several times. Even going under my User CP and searching my posts didn’t find it.

It just happened again with a SCOTUS ruling on DNA thread I started in Mundane. It was there for a few minutes and someone replied. Then I replied and it disappeared.

I assume it will eventually come back. At least I hope so. 😛

It seems like a database error. I’m not sure when the message board does a final commit writing the record. Are new posts getting written into an overflow area? That sometimes happens when the index is full.

OK, usually theres a Moved entry in the prior forum.

This time it just vanished. I even checked my threads under user CP

I was beginning to think someone did a rollback on the database. 😉

Normally, yes. This time I messed up the merge/redirect and deleted them. I just created a new one, but it has **sleestak** ’s thread title, not yours.
