# Date with DG in less than nine hours! Help!

For the uninformed, DG = Dream Girl.

We met about four weeks ago. She’s the roommate of a fellow grad student, and we both work on the editorial board of this small literary journal published on campus. Anyways, one night most of the editorial staff went out to a concert here in town and…what can I say, it was like being struck by lightning. She’s intelligent, has a sharp sense of humour, and is insanely and unbearably cute. And she’s an english major, as well. I’m already fantasizing about the day when we share a bookshelf.

Screw butterflies; my stomach feels like it’s being torn apart by rabid peregrine falcons. And I have to sit still, behave, and research my thesis all afternoon. I am _not_ looking forward to the next nine hours.
