Hope it worked. Hi slackergirl. Maybe you can explain - how _does_ one engineer quality? What does a design look like? Can you make a drawing of it? 😉 (Poke poke, prod prod. Say hi to the smartass. 😃 ) As for punctuation, I put it whereever it makes the most sense depending on the case. If I make a whole sentence a parenthetical, I put the period inside. If I’m just making a short aside within a sentence, then I put the period outside, because the period belongs to the sentence, not the parenthetical. I used to be really precise with the rules from the textbook, but now don’t care. It makes more sense my way (to me anyway). (Besides, those rules were generated for setting type and had to do with specifics of the technology, not because of language requirements - or so I’ve heard.) I think I’m going to go compliment Medea’s Child now. Not that I expect to go out with her, I just want to see her blush. I looked for a site on Medea to try to find some way to work that in, but got confused and decided that wasn’t going to work. Would you mind if I basked in the glow of your beauty till inspiration strikes? ---
