What the fuck is up with this coventry. It looks like this is just an excuse for DavidB to answer only what he wants to answer. This has been true of DavidB from the beginning. Someone will give an articulate and well thought out post, and DavidB will cut and paste it to shreds picking out of context. Now that we are on to him, and are posting more carefully, he just bans certain posters to coventry, how convenient. I never had much respect for his argumentative style. He’s a weak man who cannot bear any criticism to his viewpoints. He is base, hypocritical (coventry to a certain poster is because of his/her attacks? He has attacked plenty, himself), and terminally self-deluded. A poorer moderator I have never seen. If coventry is deserved of anyone, it is DavidB. Other than that, I think he’s a great guy. * * * There’s always another beer. ---

What about whining? How could you have skipped whining? All I can think of is those little spoons in the grocery - you know the ones, covered with soft stuff at the business end so baby doesn’t crack his new teeth? Then I get a picture of those bibs made of plastic with the little turned up part at the bottom so the drool gets caught, can’t you just see it fill up as he posts the same reply over and over? Now _that’s_ real Christian love for you! I guess it’s o.k. to sling the crap around if you’re doing it for God. For those of you who don’t know what all the whining is about, Brother D started a thread because he, an A_T_H_E_I_S_T dared to suggest that some of the Christmas celebrating in the public schools bothered him. He _was_ a bit snide about it, I admit, but atheists these days don’t exactly get to play on a level field, do they? What followed was a lot of,“Well, why don’t you complain about Halloween, huh?” and,“What about St. Patrick’s Day, huh?” etc. When he finally gave up on the thread, it turned into a long rant on Brother D never answering all their questions. When that started to look a little shrill for the Great Debate section, this little bit of self-congratulatory puffery was started. By the way, Sue. Before you start patting yourself on the back about all the support you are recieving on this thread, consider who is supporting you:Story Tyler-A chiropractic true believer for life based on a personal incident, Phaedrus-Who true beliefs may _never_ be known, and John John-Who apparently spends his time on the board looking fires he can throw fuel on.
