I think it bears repeating, because I suspect there’s a great many people that don’t know… 1. Mahatma is an honorific - roughly equivalent to yogi, shifu or pastor (but a linguist can probably be more precise) 2. Pakistan did indeed used to be part of India 3. Britain just recently had some pretty bad race riots… ---
