My condolences. He was an interesting poster and, in the photos I saw, looked a lot like my grandpa. I could see the twinkle in his eye too, and I bet he was just as great and clever and awesome a guy as my grandpa is. People like that are a huge loss to the world, but what they shared with others can live on forever, especially in this age of global communication. I wish you peace in your time of grief. ---

Thanks for this message Tim. He was a great man, and he will not be forgotten in this corner of England. I shall miss him, even though I didn’t know him outside of the context of these boards, and the wise words he posted. I’m sorry to hear that he’s gone. I never got to know him but everything I’ve hard, I wish that I had gotten that chance. May God give his peace to all of his friends and family during this difficult time. ---
