# David Stern v. Jim Rome

That’s funny, I think Colin Cowherd is actually one of the few sports talk hosts who challenges his listeners. For example, he talks about how going to events is pretty overrated and how watching at home is a much better experience. There’s a fair bit of muckraking because hey, that’s sports talk, but I do find he goes against conventional wisdom a lot, especially when that CW is wrong.

In general, I find sports gabbers vile. But in my youth, I used to listen to the sports chatter/trivia game on WLW in the afternoons. I still didn’t like the evening sports talk, hosted by Bill Cunningham and the like.

“Only a Game” on public radio is tolerable, if I really have to pin something down. The frequent sports-related chatter on “The Bugle” is alright, although Andy is an idiot.
