In light of his behavior towards most anyone who doesnt agree with him, and his treatment in gereral of those around him, Im calling for his replacement.
Recently many thread were opened regarding “frenzied attacks” and “wolfpack” mentality of the boards recently. I think to solve that you must remove the leader of the “wolfpack” and also remove the Tone setter of the board.
DavidB I ask that you step down, even if temporarily, and reflect on your recent behavior. Get a grip of yourself man. Either rededicate yourself to the behaviour and courtesy and treatments this board should give, or resign from it.
You are out of line. Especially when I requested no further interaction with you, and you made a point of visiting every thread I did, and following me with negative commentary.
Cecil fights ignorance, in a civil and polite manner. He also has not attacked anyone. Education is done much more effectively in any moethod in which attitudes and behaviour such is yours is absent.

Of course, the evidence (as posted by me in “Mormonism” page 3 … see the time line posts) state with absolute certainty that Not applicable here made the first personal attack. He then tried to justify it as self defense, which again yours truly torpedoed. The evidence is entirely in favor of David B and entirely against Not Applicable. But he won’t see it. His eyes are clouded and his spirit is dead. N/A has a clear case of rage and contempt for others. N/A clearly exhibits some degree persecution complex (again “Mormonism” page 2 … Glitch is just trying to get him banned. Everybody is vultures. How severe would require actual in person study. N/A also has a hankerin’ for the use of violence, thankfully, his ineptitude and lack of spirit means he is of no threat to anybody.

To be honest, David, at first I kind of thought it might be Phaedrus returned. But I have noted several distinct differences between Phaedrus and NA, in particular the desire to use violence. The writing style is also way off, Phaedrus is nothing else was articulate.
Of course, Phaedrus demonstrated a liking for the use of a persona, which became so deep and true to him it could indicate MPD.
However, all in all, I don’t think NA is Phaedrus, but he sure is a wacko. I am very glad he demonstrated he lack of ability to carry out what his brain tells him.

Although this may sound snide, I assure you I am asking a legitimate question; this is not rhetoric.
If you don’t mind my asking, do you believe that this thread will have the desired effect – that is, that David will be removed or resign as a moderator? If you do, about what odds do you give it? I’m not looking for a rigorous analysis; just a sense of what you expect.

Curious. Where has this person been posting for the week or so he’s been here? I seem to have overlooked all his productive posts, as I only encountered him in the “Headlights” thread in GD. I cannot judge someone based upon such a small sample of his work, but I find it curious that after about five posters mentioned that he was vectoring a Urban Legend he seems to have gone all over David.
Anyone have any links so I could see where he went from well-liked and knowledgeable to being the victim of David’s Posse?

David didn’t overstep any boundaries. He simply pointed out to you that what you were posting was absolute rubbish. Which it was.
As to whether or not he was wanted, so fucking what? Dunno if you noticed yet or not, but simply because you want to be left alone in your ignorance, doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen.
